Siteprint does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Nothing
leaves your Mac.
What Siteprint reads
When you open Siteprint on a page, it reads that page’s visual styles and
layout in Safari: colours, fonts, sizes, spacing, corners and the boxes of
its sections. It does not read form values, passwords, cookies or the text
you type. It keeps the page’s title and address without any query or
fragment, and a small picture of the visible screen.
Where it is kept
- Scans are stored only on your Mac: your five most recent for 24 hours,
plus any you pin, until you unpin or clear them.
- If you turn on sharing with coding agents (Pro), your scans are also
written as files into Siteprint’s own folder on your Mac, where a coding
agent you set up reads them. Turning sharing off empties that folder.
- Nothing is synced, uploaded or backed up by Siteprint.
What is collected
Nothing. Specifically:
- No accounts, sign-in or identifiers
- No analytics, telemetry, tracking or crash reporting
- No server: Siteprint makes no network connections of its own
- No data is sent to the developer or any third party
Apple Intelligence
On a Mac with Apple Intelligence, Siteprint uses Apple’s on-device model to
describe a design and answer your questions about it. It runs on your Mac;
Siteprint does not use Private Cloud Compute.
Purchases
Siteprint Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment;
Siteprint only learns whether your Apple Account owns Pro.
What you share
Prompts, DESIGN.md files, tokens and screenshots you copy or export are
yours to share. They can include the address of the page you scanned and
anything visible in a screenshot.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this
